Amber Busuttil Mullen’s practice comprises a wide spectrum of issues impacting companies and their executives and employees, from tax, contract, corporate governance, stock exchange and ERISA requirements to federal and state laws affecting employment termination and non-competes.
Having both a law and business background, Amber Busuttil Mullen addresses her clients’ needs with a pragmatic and results-oriented perspective, taking into account factors such as employee retention, integration and corporate culture together with legal considerations.
Amber Busuttil Mullen practiced at Gibson Dunn and Proskauer in New York and Los Angeles prior to joining Bowen Tax Law. She was voted a "Rising Star" in 2013 and 2014, and a "Super Lawyer" by Southern California Super Lawyers in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, and has spoken and written on employee benefits and executive compensation matters affecting both employers and employees.
Amber Busuttil Mullen received her J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Columbia Law School and Columbia Business School, and was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Amber received her B.A. from Stanford University.
Amber Busuttil Mullen is active in the community and has served on Boards and committees for the Hammer Museum and LA><ART in Los Angeles, and Sun Valley Center for the Arts and the Ketchum Innovation Center in Sun Valley, Idaho. Amber can be found spending time with her two sons, mountain biking, skiing or at her book club when not practicing law.
